It was lovely! I so enjoy living so close to our local mountains. The views are spectacular. While standing up there today, overlooking our beautiful city, I couldn't help but be in total joy. The sun was shining and there was no need for hat gloves or heavy pants.
Swooshing was a little tricky.. it was so warm out and the snow was a bit sticky in places -- I had my first wipe out of the season, a real doozy! No broken bones and I sure had a good laugh.
My skis and boots are in storage now, and I'm thinking ahead to summer at Wreck beach and hiking on the North Shore trails.. I love spring and summer!
